The sculptures of wire mesh

While he was looking for new techniques to solidify his sculptures in clay, Cédric Verdure discovers the wire.

Cedric recycles the fence that is often neglected as it might seem unsuitable for anything.

The sculptures are hanging from trees, integrating with nature, they arise and face everywhere. Folding, mending and evolving, the Cedric sculptures give a hand to the eternal fence, another life in art.

Rooted more in the artistic landscape of the city and exposing its metal works at events in Nantes, France as “Art takes the Air” or “The Beautiful chairs”, Cédric’ sculptures combine poetry and originality.

“To create a dream, immortalize memories, awaken sensations, that is why I work, the sculpture is a way of me to express the place that takes the emptiness in us and around us.
